What makes the AMP4 different
Most beginner paddles are made from composite materials that plateau your game. The AMP4 is built with the same T700 carbon fiber face as paddles costing twice as much — so as your skills grow, your paddle keeps up.
The wider face gives you more surface area to work with. That means more forgiveness on off-center hits, easier returns, and more confidence during rallies while you're building consistency. At 7.5 oz, it's light enough for quick hands at the net without feeling flimsy.
The face
T700 Carbon Fiber — durable, responsive, and textured for spin. The same material used in the Premio and Halo series, at an entry-level price.
The core
14mm cold-pressed honeycomb core delivers a controlled, forgiving feel with enough pop to support developing power. The 14mm thickness (vs. 16mm in the Premio and Halo) gives slightly more pop and is ideal for players still developing their placement and touch.
The handle
5.23-inch extended handle provides leverage for two-handed backhands and comfortable grip for players of all hand sizes.
Who it's for
The AMP4 is ideal for:
- Beginners picking up pickleball for the first time and wanting something they won't outgrow in 3 months
- Casual players who want quality without paying $150+
- Anyone buying a paddle as a gift for someone new to the sport
